SikaSeal-175 is a professional neutral silicone sealant, developed to ensure durable and clean seals in humid environments such as bathrooms, kitchens, and laundries.
Its non-corrosive neutral curing formula offers excellent adhesion on numerous building materials, such as ceramic, glass, aluminum, and tiles, often without the need for a primer.
Formerly SikaSil C
It is resistant to mold formation, does not yellow over time, and maintains elasticity even in extreme conditions. Perfect for sealing joints between tiles, fittings, sinks, showers, and sanitary ware.

Preparation and application
1. Ensure that surfaces are dry, clean, and free of dust or grease.
2. Cut the nozzle and apply the sealant continuously, avoiding air bubbles.
3. Smooth immediately with a spatula or moistened finger before a surface skin forms.
4. Remove any fresh residues with a neutral detergent; hardened product can only be removed mechanically.
Application conditions:
• Temperature: from +5 °C to +40 °C
• Skin formation time: about 35 minutes
• Hardening: ~3 mm every 24 hours
• Thermal resistance: from –40 °C to +150 °C
Useful tips
• Avoid use on bituminous surfaces, PE, PP, or PTFE.
• Not paintable.
• In very dry environments, ensure a minimum of humidity to promote cross-linking.
• Clean tools immediately after use.
