Sikaflex-221 adheres well to a wide range of substrates and is suitable for making permanently elastic, high adhesive strength seals. Suitable substrates are materials such as metals, primers for metals and paint systems (2-component systems), ceramics and plastics. Seek manufacturer advice and test original substrates before using Sikaflex-221 on materials subject to stress cracking. This product is only suitable for experienced professional users. To ensure adhesion and material compatibility, tests with substrates under real conditions should be performed.
