Pure acetone 99.9%: solvent for paints, lacquers, adhesives, and especially for acetyl and ethyl cellulose resins, rosin and its esters, natural and synthetic resins, etc. Also used in the celluloid industry, in pharmaceuticals, in cosmetics, in wool degreasing, but especially in the furniture industry as a solvent for dyes, polyester paints, nitro, and for cleaning manufactured goods and painting equipment. It is used as a solvent for cellulose acetate, oils, waxes, resins, rubber, and plastics.
