MEGASID EPOXYSID EPOXY PRIMER is a two-component anti-rust primer for the protection of ferrous materials in painting cycles where good corrosion resistance and excellent adhesion on various surfaces are required.
Excellent adhesion on: Raw iron, Galvanized surfaces, Aluminum, Putty, and Fiberglass.
When combined with Veneta Vernici or Megasid solvent-based or WATER-BASED enamels, it creates a compact and durable film over time. Available in all RAL colors.

Uses:
Suitable for the protection of new or maintenance ferrous materials, highly versatile in application, it is mainly used in carpentry, mechanical and petrochemical industries, and in the maintenance sector of plants in aggressive environments.

Mixing:
This product is supplied in two separate containers.
1) Shake Epoxy Primer (Part A) with a mechanical stirrer;
2) Add the Catalyst (Part B) and mix with a mechanical stirrer;
3) Dilute according to the instructions. Once mixed, the product must be applied within the specified pot life.

Temperature: 60-80 °C
The primers of the EPOXYSID line have the characteristic of
excellent spreading; sanding is not always necessary. In case of defects requiring sanding, proceed with: P220 - 320 - 400.
Do not dilute to achieve a filling effect; otherwise, dilute up to 20% with NC 190 Epoxy Thinner. In the summer period, use NC 190 Slow Epoxy Thinner.

Protect Yourself:
Use:
Gloves, FFP3 Mask, and Protective Glasses
Before use:
Mix the product well; the EPOXYSID primer line is high build and tends to create a base even shortly after production.
During use:
Apply in well-ventilated areas; if spraying, be careful of surrounding objects as paint fumes may form and settle.
After use:
Clean tools and any drips with NITRO THINNER NC and/or EPOXY THINNER NC 190.
Product shelf life:
Batch and expiration are printed below or above the can and/or near the color code. Shelf life is 18 months from production in original packaging. Afterwards, it is necessary to check the product condition.
