SikaPower®-1277 Two-Component Structural Epoxy Adhesive 400ml 2:1

SikaPower®-1277 is a two-component structural epoxy adhesive designed for high-strength bonding on metals and composite materials in the industrial, automotive, and transportation sectors. Its formulation ensures high mechanical and impact resistance, making it ideal for structural applications where reliability and durability are essential. It cures at room temperature and can be heated to accelerate hardening and further improve mechanical performance. It contains 0.3 mm glass microspheres that automatically ensure an optimal adhesive bond line thickness, promoting a uniform and consistent bond. The presence of anti-corrosion agents also helps protect metal substrates over time, while the absence of solvents and PVC makes it a modern, high-performance professional solution. It is particularly suitable for bonding steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, GFRP and CFRP laminates, as well as for repair operations in combination with spot welding, riveting, or clinching. The surfaces must be perfectly clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, grease, or other contaminants. Extrude a small amount of product without the mixer to equalise the level of the two components, then attach the static mixer and discard the first few centimetres of mixed adhesive. Apply the product to both surfaces to be bonded, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Assemble the parts within the specified open time, keeping them correctly positioned until fully cured. If necessary, curing can be accelerated by controlled heating. The product is intended for professional use only.

Completely emptied packaging must be disposed of in separate waste collection in accordance with your local council's regulations. Uncured product residues must be disposed of as special waste in accordance with current regulations. Do not release the product or container into the environment.
