SIKAGARD 6220 Cavity wax with high penetration, sprayable AUTO CAMPER 1LT

Sikagard®-6220 is a durable amber-colored wax with excellent anti-rust properties. The product is particularly suitable for effective protection against corrosion in the cavities of vehicle bodies and impresses with its excellent application characteristics and outstanding final performance. Thanks to its excellent penetration ability, even hard-to-reach areas are perfectly protected. Once dry, the slightly sticky brown wax residue protects the cavities from corrosion.

Sikagard®-6220 is a spray-applied anti-corrosion coating for the repair and protection of hidden vehicle parts, such as door cavities, side panels, hoods, trunks, fenders, door sills, pillars, bases, etc. The product does not create spray vapors, penetrates the finest cracks but does not drip through drainage holes. Sikagard®-6220 has excellent adhesion to multiple paints, primers, metals, and PVC without pretreatment. This product is intended exclusively for use by professionals with the necessary experience. To ensure adhesion and compatibility of materials, conduct preliminary tests with substrates in real conditions.

Surface preparation:
The substrate must be clean, dry, free of rust, dust, and grease.

Bare metal must be pretreated to improve corrosion resistance (e.g. bare steel, etc.).

Application:
Sikagard®-6220 can be applied with an airless spray gun or air mix spray gun at a pressure of about 3 - 6 bar, using the Sika® CW Gun (with a pressure tank).

Shake the can approximately 40 times before use.

Cover adjacent surfaces to protect them from overspray.

At room temperature, spray Sikagard®-6220 onto the surface from a distance of about 25 cm or into the cavity with a flexible nozzle. Use existing access points or specially drilled holes in the bodywork.

Spray the product in regular layers.

Avoid brake parts, engine, or exhaust system.

Removal:
Unhardened Sikagard®-6220 can be removed from tools and equipment with Sika® Remover-208 or another suitable solvent. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Hands and skin should be washed immediately using hand cleaning wipes (e.g. Sika® Cleaner-350H) or a suitable industrial hand cleaner and water. Do not use solvents on the skin!

Overpainting:
Sikagard®-6220 cannot be overpainted.

Disposal:
Jar: FE40 - Iron Collection
Cap: HDPE2 - Plastic Collection.
Recycle only if perfectly clean and empty.
Otherwise, recycle at designated eco centers.
