Sikaflex 552 is a one-component, silane-terminated, elastic, filler, high-performance, low-VOC structural polymer adhesive that cures with moisture to form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex 552 does not contain isocyanates or solvents. Sikaflex 552 is manufactured in accordance with the ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 quality assurance system and responsible service program. Sikaflex 552 hite High Strength Structural Assembly Adhesive is AAMA 805.2-94 certified and bonds well to a wide variety of substrates without applying pre-treatment. Sika 552 is resistant to UV rays, aging and atmospheric agents, is able to withstand high dynamic stresses, has a very low VOC content, is free from silicone, PVC and isocyanates, has a high recovery, is elastic and emits a low odor. Sikaflex 552 is ideal for structural joints subject to dynamic stress. Sikaflex 552 adheres very well to a wide variety of substrates and is suitable for making high strength permanent elastic adhesive seals. Suitable substrate materials include wood, metals, metal primers and paint coatings (two-part systems), ceramic materials, plastics and glass.
