Sika® Primer-507 is based on Purform ® technology, an industry-leading polyurethane with less than 0.1% monomeric diisocyanate for better health and safety protection in the workplace. It is a black solvent-based primer that reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer acts as a bond between substrates and adhesives.
Sika® Primer-507 is specifically formulated for the treatment of bonding surfaces before the application of Sika elastic adhesives and sealants. This primer may provide excellent adhesion without prior activation on many substrates. Sika® Primer-507 emits fluorescence under long-wave UV light for a limited period of time. This feature is used for process control.
