SikForce 300 Plastic Primer Adhesion Promoter for Plastic Repairs

SikaForce®-300 Primer is a colourless solvent-based adhesion promoter designed for the pre-treatment of surfaces before bonding plastic materials in body repair processes. It is specifically formulated for use in combination with SikaForce®-301 and SikaForce®-302 plastic adhesives, significantly improving adhesion on a wide variety of plastic substrates without the need for additional activation steps.

Thanks to its formulation, SikaForce®-300 Primer ensures effective, uniform adhesion, facilitating repair work and delivering professional, long-lasting results. The product is a transparent liquid and can be sprayed on, allowing even and controlled distribution over the substrate. Its rapid drying helps reduce processing times, improving productivity in bonding operations.

It is ideal for the preliminary treatment of plastic surfaces in the automotive aftermarket sector, particularly for repair work and bonding plastic components. The product is intended for professional use and requires preliminary testing to verify compatibility with specific materials.

The surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, dust, and contaminants before application. SikaForce®-300 Primer must be applied in a thin, even spray coat, avoiding build-up or runs. The minimum evaporation time (flash-off) is approximately 5 minutes and up to 2 hours at most; if bonding does not occur within this interval, the treatment must be repeated. The product must be used at a temperature between 15°C and 30°C and has an indicative consumption of about 20 ml/m², varying depending on the substrate.
