Sikaflex 515 White One-Component Hybrid Sealant DIY Camper SIKA

Sikaflex®-515 is a one-component sealant based on Sika's Silane Terminated Polymer (STP) technology that cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. It is a universal sealant for both indoor and outdoor applications.

AREAS OF APPLICATION

Sikaflex®-515 is a universal sealant suitable for most industrial sealing applications. The product has excellent sealing properties for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Sikaflex®-515 adheres well to materials such as metals, ABS, PC, FRP, and wood.

Sikaflex®-515 can be processed between 5°C and 40°C, but changes in reactivity and application properties must be considered. The optimal temperature for substrate and sealant is between 15°C and 25°C. Sikaflex®-515 can be extruded with manual, pneumatic, or electric guns, as well as with pump equipment. For advice on selecting and installing a suitable pumping system, contact the Sika Industry Engineering Department.

Surface preparation:
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from any traces of grease, oil, and dust. The surface treatment depends on the specific nature of the substrates and is essential for a lasting bond. Tips for surface preparation can be found in the current edition of the appropriate Sika® pre-treatment table. Please note that these tips are based on experience and must be verified through testing on original substrates in any case.

Disposal:

Jar: FE40 - Iron Collection

Recycle only if perfectly clean and empty.

Otherwise, recycle at appropriate ecological centers.
