MEGASID Transparent polyester resin. It is a transparent polyester-based resin for metal, plastic, and fiberglass. Colourless and light-stable, suitable for bonding and repairing damaged or missing parts, it is also used for application with fiberglass fabric. Levante Polyester Resin comes with liquid catalyst, to be added at a rate of 3%.
CATALYSIS: 3%
GEL TIME: 9-12 minutes
EXOTHERMIC PEAK: 180-190 °C at 15-17 minutes
Application:
- Prepare the surface to be treated by cleaning away grease and salt deposits;
- Add its hardener to the resin, in a proportion of 3 – 5 %, and mix the two components well;
- Apply with a brush; the product can be worked after complete catalysis;
- Do not apply on damp surfaces.
