The 69002 Series Notched Steel Trowel is the professional tool for spreading and combing adhesives, compounds, skim coats, and mortars on flat surfaces. The notches on the right side allow the product to be distributed in a uniform and consistent thickness across the entire surface, creating the grooves needed to ensure proper adhesion of the coating applied afterward.

Choosing the correct notch size is crucial to the final result and depends on the product thickness required by the installation and the size of the elements to be bonded. Choosing an unsuitable notch size for the product and the substrate is one of the most common causes of detachment and bonding defects over time.

The 10x10 mm notch version (code 69005) is recommended for spreading adhesives and bonding compounds in a thick layer, typically for laying large-format tiles, heavy coverings, and stone materials that require a more substantial bedding layer to ensure full adhesion and the absence of voids beneath the covering.

The 5x7 mm notch version (code 69002) is recommended for spreading thin-layer adhesives, for laying small- and medium-format tiles, mosaics, and lightweight coverings on already level substrates that do not require high product thickness.

In both cases, the steel blade ensures strength, resistance to deformation, and long-lasting performance even with intensive use. The ergonomic handle ensures a firm, balanced grip during application, reducing fatigue during extended work sessions. Made in Italy with Professional certification.

Available variants:

  • 5x7 mm notch (code 69002) — for thin layers, small- and medium-format tiles
  • 10x10 mm notch (code 69005) — for thick layers, large formats, and stone materials

Common technical features for both variants:

  • Size: 280 x 120 mm
  • Blade material: steel
  • Notches: right side
  • Handle: ergonomic
