The two-component MEGASID PUTTY FOR PLASTIC is a formulation based on high-quality unsaturated polyester resins; it is an extremely flexible and adhesive product, characterized by excellent spreading and sanding properties.
It is mainly used for the repair of bumpers and the repair of plastic parts in general.
APPLICATION:
− Ensure that the surfaces to be filled are perfectly dry and clean, sand the same with abrasive papers P 80 and P 150;
− Take the amount to be used from the jar with clean tools, adding 1 - 3 grams of hardener for every 100 grams of product;
− Mix this amount well combining the two components;
− Apply the filler to the surface to be worked on, keeping in mind that the product can be sanded (grit P 80 – P 120 dry) after about 25-30 minutes; the curing times may be altered depending on the ambient temperature: they shorten with temperatures above 25 °C and lengthen with lower temperatures;
− Do not return catalyzed and/or unused filler to the jar to avoid deteriorating the entire contents of the jar;
− Close the jar after use, in order to prevent the product from hardening upon contact with air.
