Mapei ULTRACOLOR PLUS is a high-performance cementitious grout for joints designed for grouting joints up to 20 mm, suitable for both floors and wall coverings in ceramic, porcelain stoneware, klinker, natural stone, glass mosaics and marble. Thanks to BioBlock® and DropEffect® technologies, ULTRACOLOR PLUS offers resistance to mould growth, water repellency and easy cleaning, with uniform colours that remain stable over time. The range includes around 40 standard colours, allowing every surface to be enhanced and adapted to any aesthetic project, from residential settings to commercial spaces, indoors or outdoors. Mix ULTRACOLOR PLUS with water until you obtain a smooth, lump-free paste; apply the grout with a trowel or rubber float, completely filling the joints and ensuring good contact with the edges of the tiles; remove the excess with a damp sponge once the grout has lost its plasticity and finish to obtain a uniform surface. ULTRACOLOR PLUS is formulated with special hydraulic binders, graded aggregates, polymers and water-repellent additives that provide excellent resistance to water and weathering, a low-absorption surface, high resistance to abrasion, compression and freeze/thaw cycles, making the product suitable for a wide range of installation requirements.
