UltraCare Finish is a water-based microdispersion of hard waxes and resins with high chemical-physical resistance, designed as a renewable protective finish for absorbent surfaces indoors and in covered outdoor areas: terracotta, natural stones, unpolished marbles, reconstituted stones, and similar materials.
It does not retain dirt, facilitates its removal, and provides a slight toning effect without altering the color or breathability of the substrate. It protects against the most common household stains (greasy, acidic, and alcoholic) and reduces slipperiness.
Available variants
- UltraCare Finish Matte: semi-matte effect (Gloss 4–5). Ideal where an elegant, low-reflective appearance is desired.
- UltraCare Finish Glossy: bright, self-polishing effect (Gloss 14–15), with the option to re-polish using a soft pad.
Where to use
- Indoors and covered outdoor areas, on floors of terracotta, stone, unpolished and reconstituted marbles; apply as a finish after toning and/or water- and oil-repellent products.
• Indicative consumption: 1 L for about 30 m² of terracotta and 30–40 m² of hand-applied stone material (yield depends on absorbency and roughness).
• Routine cleaning: diluted neutral detergents; avoid alkaline/aggressive products and steam.
• Periodic renewal: 2–4 times a year, diluting 1:1 in water on a clean and dry surface.
Application
• Ready to use; apply pure with a spreader roller, cloth, or spray-buffing with a single-disc machine, in thin layers and cross coats; wait 1–2 hours between coats.
• On untreated terracotta or very absorbent stones, apply a base coat of Antipluviol W first and wait about 24 hours.
Limits and warnings
• Do not walk on until completely dry.
• Not recommended for unprotected outdoor areas, humid environments, or where water is present (e.g., bathrooms, showers).
• Avoid cold or hot surfaces (< +5 °C / > +35 °C).
