Mapei MapePUR Universal Foam M is a universal, single-component, self-expanding polyurethane foam, designed for the filling, sealing, and thermal-acoustic insulation of gaps, cracks, and discontinuities in construction and building services.

The MapePUR Universal Foam M version is for manual application and can be used directly from the can with the special dispensing system, without the need for a gun.

Thanks to its high final expansion, it is particularly suitable for filling cavities and voids, while also helping insulate against heat, cold, and noise.

Directions for use

Surfaces must be sound, clean, and free from dust, oils, grease, and loose particles.

Before application, shake the can vigorously.

Apply MapePUR Universal Foam M manually, using the can dispensing system and keeping it upside down during use.

For filling cavities, apply the foam starting from the deepest area and work progressively.

Take into account the high expansion of the foam during dispensing, avoiding completely filling the cavity while the product is still fresh.

Moisture promotes the foam curing process.

Cleaning

Any residue of still-fresh foam can be removed using Mapei MapePUR Cleaner.

Once fully cured, the foam can only be removed by mechanical action.

Storage

MapePUR Universal Foam M can be stored for 18 months, keeping the can in a vertical position, in a covered and dry place, in the original packaging, and at a temperature between +10°C and +25°C.

Protect the can from direct sunlight and from temperatures above +50°C

Do not disperse the product, residues, or packaging into the environment.

Any product residues and contaminated packaging must be handled in compliance with current regulations and according to the instructions provided in the Mapei Safety Data Sheet.

The can is a pressurised container: for correct disposal, check the environmental labelling on the package and follow the regulations of your municipality or local waste management provider.
