 APPLICATION: Manual

MapePUR Fire Foam M is a self-expanding one-component foam packaged in a manually dispensed aerosol can containing a mixture of polyurethane pre-polymer, special foaming agents, and special additives, completely free from CFCs and therefore not harmful to the ozone layer. Due to atmospheric humidity after extrusion, the product expands in volume and hardens quickly, forming a stable closed-cell structure with excellent mechanical characteristics and high thermal and acoustic insulation properties. MapePUR Fire Foam M is waterproof, continuously resistant to heat and cold, from -40°C to +90°C, to humidity, and aging. The foam has excellent adhesion to all materials used in construction such as bricks, concrete, plaster, wood, metals, glass, expanded polystyrene, PVC, and rigid polyurethane foams, and it also resists the formation of fungi and moss. After curing, the foam produced by MapePUR Fire Foam M can be cut, sanded, polished, drilled, and coated with cementitious finishes or paints. The cured foam is certified according to the EN 13501-2 standard (fire resistance classification) with performance EI240 (widths up to 20 mm), EI180 (widths up to 30 mm), EI90 (widths up to 40 mm). The product, evaluated according to the German standard DIN 4102, belongs to the flammability class B1.
