Mapei Lampocem Rapid Non-Shrink Cement for Fixings and Sealing 5kg - 2kg

Lampocem by Mapei is the fast-setting cement of choice for anyone who cannot afford to wait. With a setting time of about 3 minutes at +20°C and high mechanical strength after just 3 hours, it allows you to complete fixings, sealing work, and urgent repairs in times that no traditional cement can guarantee.

It is a premixed powder product made from high-strength cements and special additives developed in the Mapei laboratories. It contains no chlorides, is shrinkage-compensated, and maintains its mechanical performance over the long term, without degradation over time.

Mixed with water, Lampocem produces a plastic-thixotropic compound that immediately bonds to the substrate, can be applied to vertical surfaces without running, and does not require formwork. This makes it ideal not only for experienced professionals, but also for those who need to handle urgent repairs independently.

The application surface must be damp, clean, and free of dust, loose particles, oils, and any residues. Do not apply on dry substrates: thoroughly dampen the surface before proceeding. For fixings, wet the hole or cavity before introducing the product.
Prepare the mix by pouring 20-21 parts water for every 100 parts of Lampocem into a clean container. Mix with a drill fitted with a mixer for about 30 seconds until a smooth, lump-free mix is obtained. The mix remains workable for about 1 minute: prepare only the amount needed for each individual operation.
Apply the mix with a trowel or spatula, completely filling the cavity or joint to be treated. On vertical surfaces, the product adheres without running and without the need for formwork. Finish the surface with a trowel before the product sets.
To stop water infiltration, shape the product into a cone with your hands and force it into the infiltration point, maintaining pressure for about 2-3 minutes until it has set.
Do not use Lampocem for restoring deteriorated concrete structures, for anchoring machines or load-bearing structures, or for levelling, skimming, or repairing floors, walls, and steps. For these applications, Mapei has specific products.

The product is packaged in a plastic bag. Once emptied and free of product residue, the bag should be disposed of in the plastic recycling collection, according to the methods provided by your municipality of residence. Always check local guidelines for proper disposal. Do not release into the environment.
