Mapecoat ACT Satin Anti-Mould Satin Wall Enamel 1, 4 and 14 L, 100 Shades

Mapecoat ACT Satin is a satin interior wall enamel based on acrylic resins in water dispersion, designed to protect and decorate walls and ceilings in environments where high standards of hygiene, cleanability, and durability are required. Its special formulation with biological protection agents helps prevent the buildup and spread of moulds, bacteria, and viruses, even with frequent washing and sanitising operations, maintaining a smooth, satin, and easy-to-clean surface over time. Thanks to its very low dirt pickup and high wash resistance, it is ideal for high-traffic environments such as hospitals, clinics, medical practices, schools, canteens, kitchens, laboratories, food industries, and premises compliant with HACCP protocols, but it is also an excellent solution for homes, offices, and commercial spaces where beautiful, long-lasting, and easy-to-maintain walls are desired. Conforming to EN 13300, it is classified as Class 1 for wet scrub resistance, a feature that ensures high wash resistance and long-lasting aesthetic performance. It can be applied to new or cured plaster, cementitious or gypsum-based skim coats, plasterboard, and properly prepared previously painted surfaces. It is available in 1 litre, 4 litres and 14 litres formats, adapting both to small domestic jobs and to painting large professional surfaces

Prepare the substrate carefully by removing dust, dirt, efflorescence, and any parts that are not perfectly adhered. If necessary, apply a suitable primer according to the substrate. Mix the product thoroughly before use and apply it with a brush, roller, or spray in two coats, thinning it with 0-10% water depending on the equipment used. Wait 6-12 hours between coats and apply at a temperature between +5°C and +35°C. The indicative coverage is 8.5-12.5 m²/l per coat, varying according to the absorbency and roughness of the substrate. Tools can be cleaned with water before the product dries.

The buckets are made of recycled plastic. Once completely emptied, they can be placed in plastic recycling collection in accordance with the regulations of your local municipality. Any product residue must be disposed of in compliance with current regulations and must not be released into the environment
