Descale Foam Shampoo is a valuable ally for removing mineral deposits that can form after a sandy rain or to remove stains left after a snowfall. It can also be applied to remove annoying stains caused by an incorrect car washing or drying phase.

Thanks to its formula that generates a dense and rich foam, Descale Foam Shampoo ensures high lubrication, allowing for a safe and gentle wash. Thanks to the "washing techniquePillow Foam" (foam pillow), a protective layer forms between the vehicle's surface and the microfiber glove, reducing the risk of scratches and abrasions. This technique lifts and traps dirt in the foam, limiting direct contact with the paint and ensuring gentle cleaning.

Instructions for Use and Dilutions:
Descale Foam Shampoo can be used both with a foam gun and with a manual sprayer like our Nebula Foam 2.0.
- With Foam Gun: for stubborn dirt, dilute 1:5; for normal dirt, dilute 1:10.
- With Nebula Foam 2.0: dilute 1 capful of product in 1 liter of water, then use the orange nozzle.
1) Pre-wash:
- Always perform a pre-wash first using Neutral Foam Shampoo.
- In case of a very dirty car, perform an alkaline pre-wash with Foam Gun Prewash to remove coarse dirt.
- Let the pre-wash act and rinse with high-pressure water from top to bottom.
2) Pillow Foam Technique:
- Cover the car surface with abundant foam. This will act as a "cushion," minimizing the risk of accidental scratches on the paintwork during the use of the microfiber mitt.
- Without rinsing off the foam, dilute 3 to 5 capfuls of product in 5 liters of water in the “Wash” bucket, depending on the contamination present, and proceed as with a normal car wash using the Double Face microfiber mitt or a microfiber pad like our Comfort Car Wash Pad.
3) Rinse and Dry:
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with an ultra-absorbent microfiber cloth such as our Super Dryer.
Useful Tips:
- Add 1-2 capfuls of shampoo to the Wash bucket to increase lubrication or add 3 capfuls of product to remove stains caused by sandy rain.
- For maintenance washing, use Descale Foam Shampoo with the Pillow Foam technique alternating it with a neutral shampoo like our Neutral Foam Shampoo.
- When preparing the paintwork for polishing or applying waxes, sealants, and protectants, Descale Foam Shampoo can be used after decontaminating the car with Iron Remover for a subsequent mechanical decontamination phase.
Removal of Localized and Persistent Limescale Stains:
If mineral contaminants remain after washing with Descale Foam Shampoo, we recommend performing a targeted treatment with Water Spot Mineral Remover, ideal for removing localized and persistent limescale and other mineral residues. Thanks to its advanced formula, Water Spot effectively dissolves even the most stubborn deposits without damaging the paintwork, glass, or chrome surfaces. For optimal use, apply the product directly to the area to be treated and let it act for 30-60 seconds. Use a soft-bristle brush (lime) to aid mechanical action and allow deeper penetration. Then rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean microfiber cloth. For particularly stubborn stains, repeat the operation, avoiding letting the product dry on the surface.
Maintenance Cleaning of Wheels and Removal of Heavy Dirt:
- Dilute Descale Foam Shampoo 1:10 (1 part product to 10 parts water) in the graduated bottle.
- For wheel maintenance, after a deep cleaning with Wheel & Tyre Cleaner, spray diluted Descale Foam Shampoo, let it act for a few seconds, then rinse thoroughly.
- Use a soft-bristle brush to reach crevices such as hard-to-clean wheel parts, plastics, and chrome.
- On the lower parts of the bodywork, in the presence of more intense limescale stains, always spray the product diluted 1:10, let it act for a few seconds, and proceed with the Pillow Foam technique for a complete wash.
Recommendations:
- Use the product in the shade and never on hot surfaces.
- In the presence of limescale on the car, we recommend removing it as soon as possible using our Descale Foam Shampoo. Indeed, if not removed promptly, limescale tends to accumulate on the paintwork. Once accumulated, it becomes more difficult to remove and may cause permanent damage by penetrating the paint, often requiring polishing to restore the car’s shine. To avoid these complications, we recommend treating the car with Descale Foam Shampoo as soon as possible for quick and easy limescale removal.
