It is used as a solvent for greases, oils, waxes, resins, rubbers, plastics, paints, varnishes and rubber-based glues.

Acetone is also an excellent degreaser for metal surfaces, wood, marble, laminates, plastic, fabrics and other materials. Also recommended as a stain remover, it does not attack metals and can be used in all sectors where a good degreaser is required.
