The high-performance masking tape Scotch® 233+ is a high-quality paper masking tape designed for automotive, marine, and other paint repair applications. With good adhesion on smooth surfaces, it removes cleanly without adhesive transfer or residue. This tape can be used on all typical automotive surfaces and with water-based or solvent-based painting systems.

The high-performance masking tape Scotch® Performance 233+ features a highly conformable and easy-to-apply green crepe paper backing. This automotive adhesive tape ensures residue-free removal and no bleed-through for up to three days of outdoor UV exposure and longer in indoor environments. The Scotch® high-performance masking tape is also resistant to paint bleed and offers temperature resistance up to 120 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes. A special silicone release treatment on the back of the paper allows for excellent control during unrolling up to the end of the 55 m roll. It supports more accurate masking and helps eliminate paint bleed. The Scotch® 233+ high-performance masking tape can be used with water-based or solvent-based painting systems. It is also suitable for masking areas for wet sanding operations.
