3M PT1100 Acrylic Tape Plus features two adhesives, one on each side of a 1.14mm acrylic foam core, designed to deliver reliable performance even for the complex contours and difficult painted surfaces of automobiles. Viscoelastic foam core allows for tension release when high application loads occur while maintaining tight seam aesthetics under normal conditions..

Two adhesives for automotive parts and paint systems Specially developed for attaching hard exterior finish and other parts to vehicle substrates, our 3M PT1100 Acrylic Plus Tape features a 1.14mm acrylic foam core with two different stickers, one for each side of the application. The adhesive on the side of the liner is formulated for very strong initial and final adhesion on paint systems resistant to scratches and damages. Non-liner side adhesive is excellent for bonding to automotive trim and other components. The viscoelastic foam core also adapts well to complex geometries. It is designed for voltage release under exposure to high voltage loads and maintains the aesthetics of the trunk under normal voltage loads.
