Metal Putty MEGASID.
The two-component metal putty MEGASID is a putty for sheets that enhances sanding qualities. The spreadability and rapid drying speed up production rates. Excellent characteristics after hardening: high adhesive capacity, good surface drying, and elasticity. MEGASID Metal Putty can be applied to bare sheets, new sheet metal, and galvanized sheets; the light color allows for easy paintability.
Application:
- Ensure that the surfaces to be filled are perfectly dry and clean; if applying on bare metal, sand it with abrasive papers P 80 and P 150; - Take the amount to be used from the jar with clean tools, adding 1 - 3 grams of hardener for every 100 grams of product; - Mix this amount well, combining the two components; - Apply the filler to the surface to be worked on, keeping in mind that the product can be sanded (grit P 80 - P 120 dry) after about 30 - 40 minutes; the curing times may vary depending on the ambient temperature: they shorten with temperatures above 25 °C and lengthen with temperatures below; - Do not return catalyzed and/or unused filler to the jar to avoid deteriorating the entire contents of the jar; - Close the jar after use to prevent the product from hardening upon contact with air.
