SikaPower 320 Thermosetting sealant bag 400ml

SikaPower®-320 is a thermosetting one-component sealant, applied cold, based on epoxy resin and polyurethane. It is developed for sealing applications directly before powder coating or oven enameling and polymerizes with the paint in the oven.

SikaPower®-320 is suitable for sealing applications of various types of metals and can be used in combination with spot welding, riveting, clinching, and other mechanical joining processes. SikaPower®-320 can be applied on oily substrates and can absorb surface oil (up to 3 g/m2) during the hot polymerization process. This product is suitable only for experienced professional users. Tests must be carried out with substrates and real conditions to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.

Hardening:
SikaPower®-320 cures with heat. The curing speed depends on the temperature and exposure time. The most common heat sources are convection ovens. The maximum temperature must not exceed 220 °C. The minimum curing temperature must not be lower than 160 °C (substrate temperature). The temperature and exposure time to heat can affect the properties of the final product. Preliminary tests should be conducted with original parts under actual curing conditions to ensure proper curing and sealing performance.
