Light Grey Epoxy Primer RAL 7035
Two-component anti-rust primer, used for the protection of ferrous materials in painting cycles where good resistance to corrosion, adhesion, and resistance to chemical agents is required.
Base product formulated with epoxy-polyamide resins, containing zinc phosphates
Uses:
Suitable for the protection of new or maintenance-required ferrous materials, of great application versatility, it finds primary use in carpentry, mechanical and petrochemical industries, and in the maintenance of plants in aggressive environments.

Mixing:
This product is supplied in two separate containers.
1) Shake EPOPRIMER LIGHT GRAY (Part A) with a mechanical stirrer;
2) Add the Catalyst (Part B) and mix with a mechanical stirrer;
3) Dilute according to the instructions. Once mixed, the product must be applied within the specified pot life of the mixture.
Curing time at 20°C:
To the touch 1 hour
In depth: 24 hours
Minimum overcoating: 3 hours
Maximum overcoating: 4 months
STEEL
Sandblast with suitable abrasives to grade Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1:2007) or SSPC-SP10 - NACE No 2.
A roughness profile (Rz) of 35-50 μm (ISO 8503-4:2012) is recommended.
For moderately aggressive environments or maintenance work, brush with a machine tool to grade St 3 (ISO 8501-1:2007).
HOT-DIP GALVANIZED STEEL
Sandblasting with suitable abrasives with a dense profile.
For moderately aggressive environments or maintenance work, brush with a machine tool to grade St 3 (ISO 8501-1:2007).
ELECTROLYTICALLY GALVANIZED STEEL
Sandblasting with suitable abrasives with a dense profile.
For moderately aggressive environments or maintenance work, brush with a machine tool to grade St 3 (ISO 8501-1:2007). A preliminary test is always recommended.
ALUMINUM
