SikaForce 302 Two-Component Adhesive for Plastic Repair Super Fast 90 seconds

SikaForce®-302 (Purform®) is based on Purform® technology, a leading polyurethane with less than 0.1% monomeric diisocyanate for better health and safety protection in the workplace; it is specifically designed to repair plastic parts in an auto shop. It provides good adhesion on various types of plastic and is paintable with almost all types of paint.

is used in auto repair shops for plastic repair work such as damage to bumpers, bonding plastic parts and brackets, reconstructing plastic clips, or filling unused sensor openings and small holes. This product is suitable only for experienced professional users.

Surface preparation:
Thoroughly clean and degrease all bonding surfaces with Sika® Cleaner G+P and a clean cloth. Then abrade the surfaces with sandpaper grit 80 - 180.

Clean all bonding surfaces again with Sika® Cleaner G+P and a clean cloth. Ensure the surface is completely dry and free of moisture before proceeding to the next step of the process.

Spray a thin layer of SikaForce®-300 Primer on both sides and allow to evaporate for at least 5 minutes. Additional surface treatment depends on the specific nature of the substrates.

Application:
SikaForce®-302 (Purform®) should be processed at a temperature between 15 °C and 30 °C (product, environment, and substrate temperature).

Extrude the adhesive without mixing to level the levels. Connect the static mixer, dispense one-third of the mixer length and discard it before starting to apply the adhesive on the bonding surfaces.

Extrude SikaForce®-302 (Purform®) with suitable piston guns. Mixer Tips for SikaForce®-302 are required for proper mixing (part of the package and sold separately).

After extrusion, leave the mixer on the cartridge until the adhesive is used again. The remaining adhesive will last for several weeks if stored correctly.

To reuse SikaForce®-302 (Purform®), remove the static mixer and dispose of it properly. Clean the cartridge outlet thoroughly. Then connect a new mixer and start dispensing as described above.

Sika Contouring Film and Reinforcement Mesh are available for remodeling and modeling activities.

Removal:
Uncured SikaForce®-302 (Purform®) can be removed from tools and equipment with Sika® Remover-208 or another suitable solvent. Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically.

Hands and exposed skin should be washed immediately using hand wipes like Sika® Cleaner-350H or a suitable industrial hand cleaner and water.

Do not use solvents on the skin.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Uncured SikaForce®-302 (Purform®) should be stored at a temperature between 15 °C and 30 °C in a dry place. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or frost.
