SIKA CLEANER P SOLVENT-BASED CLEANER FOR NON-POROUS SUBSTRATES

Sika® Cleaner P is a colorless transparent solvent-based cleaner for non-porous substrates.

Sika® Cleaner P is used to remove foreign bodies and contaminants such as grease, oil, dust, and dirt from the surface before applying adhesives and sealants. The surfaces can be glass, plastic, metals, powder-coated polyester metals, and PVDF-coated metals. The product should not be used on porous substrates. This product is intended exclusively for use by professionals with the necessary experience. To ensure adhesion and compatibility of materials, conduct preliminary tests with the original materials under real conditions.

Pour Sika® Cleaner P onto the paper cloth to dampen it. Never immerse the cloth in the cleaner, as it may contaminate it.

Clean the surface with a damp paper cloth. To preserve the cleaning power, frequently replace the cloth.

Before the solvent dries (evaporates), clean the surface with a clean, dry paper towel.

Repeat the last two steps until there are no more contaminant residues on a white paper towel.

Cover the clean parts that are not glued immediately to protect them from possible subsequent contamination. If more than two hours pass between cleaning and further processing, repeat the treatment as described above.

The optimal installation and substrate temperature is between 15 °C and 25 °C.

Use a clean, white, non-fraying paper towel.

Seal the bottle tightly immediately after each use.
