Megasid Rust Converter is an effective and professional treatment for surfaces affected by rust, designed to stop corrosion and create a stable and paintable base. Ideal for industrial and domestic applications, this converter forms a protective and compact black film, perfect as a base for finishing.
Important Note: For a lasting result, repaint within 24-36 hours with a finishing paint or an epoxy primer, such as Megasid or Veneta Vernici.
Storage: The product has a shelf life of 12 months from opening
PROFESSIONAL USE PRODUCT
Surface Preparation: Before application, remove loose or poorly adhered rust by brushing or sanding. Then eliminate any residual dust using compressed air or a cloth.
Application: The product is ready to use; it can be diluted with Nitro NC Thinner by 20-30% if necessary. It is easily applied with a brush or spray gun (nozzle 1.3/1.5) in a cross pattern for even coverage. After the first coat, wait 4 hours before applying the second. Once dry, the formed black film is overpaintable.
