Sika Primer-207 is specifically formulated for adhesion surface treatment prior to the application of Sika one-component polyurethanes.
BENEFITS
- Improved adhesion to a wide variety of substrates
- Fluorescent when exposed to UV light
- Easy to use
Employments
Sika Primer-207 is used to improve adhesion on a very wide range of different substrates such as float glass, ceramic glass, plastics, pre-coatings, painted surfaces, electronic coatings and metals..Seek manufacturer's advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sika Primer-207 on materials prone to stress cracking..
This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions must be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of any traces of grease, oil, dust and contaminants.
Adhesion to substrates can be improved by adding and / or combining pre-treatment processes such as rubbing, cleaning and activation.
Application
Shake the Sika Primer-207 very vigorously until the balls mix freely. Continue shaking for another minute and apply a thin but covering layer with a brush, felt or foam applicator..
The ideal application and the surface temperature are between 15C and 25C.C.
Sika Primer-207 only needs to be applied once. Care must be taken to ensure that this single application offers sufficiently dense coverage. Consumption and method of application depend on the specific nature of the substrates. Hermetically reseal the container immediately after each use..
The REACH restriction is briefly explained below.
In August 2020, the European Union introduced a new REACH restriction on the use of products containing more than 0.1% monomeric diisocyanates.
These new rules will also apply to products such as polyurethane adhesives, sealants, coatings or injections used in industrial production.
The objective of this restriction is to reduce the health risks associated with diisocyanates by ensuring that workers handling these substances are adequately informed and trained.
Many users of polyurethanes in Europe will need to attend specific worker health and safety courses to continue using these materials.
The training courses are created with the aim of improving the health and safety of workers at work.
Employers are responsible for training employees by August 24, 2023.
Starting from 08/24/2023, the following products will no longer be purchasable through this e-commerce, it will be necessary to contact us at: info@netcoatings.com and provide us with the course pass certificate.
Alternatively it will be possible to purchase the various correspondents without the presence of diisocyanates.
