Versatile, easy-to-use adhesion promoter Specially formulated for use with 3M acrylic foam tapes, our 3M 4298UV adhesion promoter improves tape adhesion to a wide range of low surface energy plastics and other commonly used materials used for parts and interior and exterior finishes in the automotive industry. Suitable for materials with TPO, TPU and PP, as well as nylon, glass (hidden and visible bond), ABS, acrylic, EPDM, TPO, TPV / TPE and PC, to name a few. The adhesion promoter can be applied using a cloth, knurled roller, spray nozzle, felt tipped applicator or the like. Thanks to its fluorescent color which makes it easily visible once applied, technicians can quickly verify the reliability of the fixing in terms of complete and uniform application. The liquid primer dries in 30 - 90 seconds for a fast and efficient application. Once the product is dry, it is ready for the application of the fixing tape.
