GENERAL INFORMATION

The 8-145XX HS Surfacer White is a highly filling 2K polyurethane primer with excellent sanding properties, which can also be used

as a wet-on-wet primer. Its use is extremely easy and it is an apparently very durable product.

These technical data sheets (TDS) refer to the sandable version.

SUBSTRATE

8-14510 HS Surfacer White must be applied only on bare steel, primed aluminum, GRP, polyester fillers, OEM primers and obsolete coatings in good condition, well sanded, blown and degreased. (Use 1-15 Washprimer for maximum durability and rust protection.)

 

SURFACE PREPARATION

Pre-clean the surface with 1-951 Silicone Remover and dry with a cloth. Sand the surface with P180 - P240 grit abrasive. Remove all sanding residues with compressed air, sanding vacuum and clean with 1-951 Silicone Remover and dry with a cloth. Final sanding before application P280-P320 on sharp edges and GRP P400.

Mask the entire vehicle to avoid application fumes

Disposal of catalyst canister:

Canister – FE40 – steel disposal

Cap and seal – HDPE2 – plastic disposal



Disposal of bottom canister:

Canister – FE40 – steel disposal

Check the regulations of your municipality.

If it is not possible to completely clean the canisters, dispose of them at a designated recycling center.
