Description
Sika® Primer-204 N is a low viscosity moisture reacting primer specifically formulated for the pretreatment of metals prior to bonding or sealing with Sikaflex® products.

Fields of application
Sika® Primer-204 N is used as an adhesion promoter for Sikaflex® products on metals such as steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and anodized aluminum.
Sika® Primer-204 N is not a corrosion protection paint.
It is advisable to carry out preliminary checks with the substrates and the specific application conditions to ensure perfect adhesion and compatibility of the materials.

Method of application
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from any traces of grease, oil and dust. To improve adhesion, other pre-treatment processes such as abrasion, cleaning or activation can be added or combined.

Application:

Shake the bottle of Sika® Primer-204 N vigorously until you feel the bead flapping freely.
Continue shaking for another minute and apply a thin but covering layer using a brush, felt pad or sponge.
The ideal temperature for application and substrates is between + 15 ° C and + 25 ° C.
Sika® Primer-204 N must be applied in one step by applying a covering layer.
Close the container tightly immediately after use.
